Happy New Year !

Newham Cars would like to wish all our customers a happy and prosperous New Year !. With the continued support of our customers, we are pleased to say that 2005 was yet again another good year for Newham Cars. We gained many more new Corporate clients and continued to service the public sector and the community. The director Margaret Carney is satisfied with the performance during the year, she says "Thank you to all our customers for your support and custom. We hope that we can continue to offer a quality service to you in 2006 and beyond. We have a great team here, who I would also like to thank for their efforts, who put a great deal of work into making sure you have a pleasant experience with us."

Clamp law is condemned

The Executive director of the RAC Foundation has condemned the governments' legislation aimed at curbing rogue clamp companies. The legislation is being criticised for being not enough, and being flouted. The RAC have urged the home secretary to tighten up the rules.

Another First!

Last year we became the first minicab company in the borough to gain one of the new Government Licence she said proudly. As one of the leaders in its field, it has won valuable contracts to supply transport to commercial companies, local authorities and even the national health trust for the local hospitals. But it is also the preferred choice of many ordinary folk who know that they can rely on Newham Minicabs and its friendly and dependable drivers to turn up when they say and to provide a service which is second to none. Newham Minicabs has rarely been busier, which means that it needs to constantly recruit additional drivers of the right caliber.

This was gained after rigorous checks on the Company's paper work, for the necessary approvals, quality control procedures and the like. The Company operates a strict no smoking policy in all its cars.

For someone who confesses that she had previously been "just a housewife," Margaret had to lean fast, but soon earned the affection and respect of her driving team. Apart from achieving the required standards to obtain its operating licence the Company is the proud holder of the top Five Star grade awarded by the London Private Hire Grading Company.

Training

The Company requires all its drivers to under go ongoing training including familiaristion to ensure they have a good working knowledge of the London a-z guide. The company is so highly regarded because it sets extremely high standards for itself and its personnel. Even before the new government legislation, the Company sought to employ only drivers who could demonstrate a safe driving record, clean Licence the right personality for the job and had not been in trouble with the law. Margaret Carney took over the business three years ago, since then she has sought to make it number one in the area.
